2020 might have been a better year for some zodiac signs than others. Still, in my opinion, it was probably an awful year overall for pretty much everyone. 2021 will be all about progress as we enter the Age of Aquarius. For a few, that progress may come in the form of romance. Based on astrology, there are a couple zodiac signs who will find long-term love in 2021.

While that’s partially due to the Great Conjunction’s energy brewing (during which on Dec. 21 Saturn and Jupiter joined forces in Aquarius for the first time in over 600 years), that is not the only astrological event affecting this year.

While 2021 may still be not great for a few signs (sorry, Libra and Taurus), this year holds much promise for others, especially in love. Yes, Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius will encourage individuality and autonomy. Still, other things will encourage some signs to step out of their comfort zone and discover love in unexpected places. And while the stars can’t really determine who will fall in love this year, these are the zodiac signs that are likely to find their soulmates in 2021.

Gemini (May 21—June 20)

Having the North Node in their sign during 2021 isn’t the only astrological transition working in a Gemini’s service this year. 2021 will definitely be a year of reinvention for Gemini. The year started with Mercury entering Aquarius, encouraging Gems to find new people to love and set new goals. Shortly after, Mars enters Gemini, prompting this sign to kickstart a new chapter in their life and attract the people and things they want. Jupiter and Saturn’s presence in Gemini’s expansion sector this year will also offer the chance of a long-lasting romantic opportunity.

Leo (July 23—Aug. 22)

For Leos, this year is the best time to create lasting new relationships, both romantically and professionally. The year kicked off with huge energy in the love department. Leos will benefit from the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn, all staying in their partnership sector. It’s the perfect time for Leos to forge promising (and potentially long-lasting) new connections in all areas of their life and break free from relationships that no longer serve them.

Scorpio (Oct. 23—Nov. 21)

2021 kicked off with Uranus finishing its 5 months retrograde in Scorpio’s partnership sector, meaning this sign is in for a surprising new relationship most likely. Mars also entered Taurus as the year started, inspiring Scorpios to focus on their wants and needs moving forward. This makes 2021 an excellent time for Scorpios to forge a new relationship that will play a lasting role throughout the year or deepen an existing one.

Capricorn (Dec. 22—Jan. 19)

After finishing one of the most challenging astrological years in history, Capricorns may ultimately catch a break in 2021. The planet of transformation and intimacy, Pluto, will once again be retrograde in Capricorn, which will enable Caps to get more content with emotional closeness and experience a rebirth. Having Saturn and Jupiter (Capricorn’s planetary ruler) in their second house of self-worth will very likely help this sign forge a link that is satisfying and sustainable.
