According to the affidavit, the LAPD officers who responded to the 911 call involving the Nashville actress and her bad news boyfriend, both 30, were wearing body cameras.
As Radar previously reported, prosecutors alleged Hickerson assaulted Panettiere on May 2, and charged the unemployed actor and real estate agent with one count of felony injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancèe or girlfriend.
During a preliminary hearing on July 10, Officer Amber Findley testified she and another officer responded to a Los Angeles home where they found a bruised Panettiere.
The officer said the petite actress had marks on her neck, bruising on her eyelids and arms, and a swollen face.
Findley testified it was Hickerson who answered the door, and initially told the officers he was alone in the home with the dogs.
The officer also testified when she first approached the home, she heard a female voice from inside the house yell, “Ow, ow, ow! You’re hurting me!”
Hickerson told the officers that the female voice they heard was just the television, according to Findley.
According to the affidavit obtained by Radar, a protective order was issued on the body camera footage.
Hickerson is scheduled to appear back in court later this month for a jury trial. He remains out of jail on a $50,000 bond.
