Trump ramps up attacks on Facebook, Twitter

President Donald Trump on Saturday stepped up his attacks on interpersonal media systems , calling them the”spouse” of the Democratic Party and warning that the tech companies”have no idea the difficulties they’re causing them .”

Trump tweeted or tweeted at least eight speeches related to bias the president alleges against conservatives from Facebook and Twitter on Saturday afternoon, containing two articles with Infowars contributor and conspiracy theorist Paul Watson — that had been one of a slew of incendiary political characters booted Thursday from Facebook and its subsidiary, Instagram, in a purge by the social network.

The president Friday evening tweeted his government has been”looking into” the banning of social media characters from the programs, writing:”It is getting worse and more difficult for individuals on social media!”

Trump, who’d spent several hours Saturday in his Virginia club, repeatedly focused his ire on the apparent Twitter suspension of actor James Woods, a vocal supporter of the White House.
