What I’m Hearing: Patriots Wire Henry McKenna spoke with a few players in the New England locker room ahead of Antonio Brown’s arrival. They all expect the same thing: greatness and to get in line.
USA TODAYThe Antonio Brown saga has now directly affected the New York Jets. With Brown now in New England after being released by the Oakland Raiders, the Patriots on Tuesday agreed to trade wide receiver Demaryius Thomas to the Jets for a 2021 sixth-round pick, a source confirmed. Thomas gives the Jets some much-needed depth and experience at receiver, where they didn’t have a proven pass catcher outside of their top three of Quincy Enunwa, Robby Anderson and Jamison Crowder.Jets coach Adam Gase also knows Thomas well because he coached him from 2010-14 on the Denver Broncos. ESPN first reported the trade.AutoplayShow ThumbnailsShow CaptionsLast SlideNext Slide
