The eldest son of Hollywood royalty, Maddox Jolie-Pitt is used to his every move being flanked by a security detail made up of burly protectors ready to neutralize any perceived threat.
But now that he’s in South Korea, the teen is on his own for the first time — and will be treated as any other student under the protection of campus cops, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
A spokeswoman for Incheon police said: “We are aware Maddox is studying at Yonsei’s international campus, but we are not aware of any special plan for his protection.”
Kidnappings are rare in South Korea, but a security expert consulted by Radar pointed out criminal masterminds only see the multimillion-dollar worth of Maddox’s moneybags parents — putting him in danger anywhere in the world.
And to make matters worse, rank and file officers at the local police station were not even aware the stars’ son was in their area!
One commented: “Celebrities don’t get special treatment here just because they are famous.”
